The title can be misleading, but the book is very helpful in understanding modern economics. I met professor Pilzer in Dallas and have read many of his books ever since.

He grew up in a family where his father gave his blessing every week to his children. This routine blessing while growing up has helped the author achieve so much since a young age. Who had ever before heard of a 25 year old being VP of the largest bank at that time? He examines evidences given which suggests that we are meant to prosper and not just merely barely survive. I haven't decided whether or not the title of this book is making it more saleable or not. I had a totally different idea about what this book would be about because of the title, and since I hadn't read anything else by Pilzer at the time, I was skeptical.

Again, the title is extremely misleading, and after asking the author about it, he said that his publisher gave it that title. Pilzer's history on economics and how money, when used with healthy intentions, can be an added blessing to anyone's life. He gives a complete view of where misconceptions of misuse of wealth and the myth of too much money being a bad thing to have. Being raised in a family where we were told that too much wealth is not a good thing to wish for, don't be greedy, and only obtain what you need, it was refreshing for me to hear how money can give you the time you need to do those things you want to do.
