Let me tell you the theory questions are from the back exercises yes a lot of them!! I am currently in 12th and i myself compared the question papers with the exercises and to my surprise there were lot of them.
Now, comming to the other questions mostly they are numericals and if you are sincerely studying for JEE or CET then it like a piece of cake for you….. Ps: I do not mean that you shouldn't read the books and just do the back exercises…reading helps understand us the concepts….. And yes you need to solve the solved examples and past year QP trust me they help a lot….
What i want to say is hard work is important but smart work is also important……. Not at all. The questions, surely are from the textbook , but are not compulsorily from those questions in the book at end of chapters.
You will have to prepare all the chapters well from the textbook if you really wish to score good. Read the textbook thoroughly. Keep your concepts clear. The type of the questions you would be asked in the boards is given at the end of the textbook. Many a times , the solved examples are asked exactly same with change in values only.
